Summary
Date Invitation is used to create a private invitation and share a web link with the invited person. The app does not include advertising, ad tracking, user accounts, public profiles, or a dating system between strangers.
Data included in an invitation
When you create an invitation, the shared link may contain the information you entered in the app, including the sender's first name, the invited person's name, the optional message, the suggested activities, the invitation code, and a private token used to connect the response to the correct invitation.
The invitation link encodes this information in the web address so the page can display the invitation without creating an account. The link is not designed to contain sensitive information. Do not include confidential, medical, financial, legal, intimate, or any other information you would not want to share with another person.
Sharing and link access
Anyone who receives the link can open the invitation and see the information it contains. You should only share the link with the intended person.
When the invited person accepts or declines, their response may be saved so the person who created the invitation can retrieve it in the app.
Storage and servers
This version does not create user accounts. The web page is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process normal technical information related to site access, such as IP address, browser, visit time, and security or performance logs.
The invitation response may be stored on Cloudflare with the invitation code, selected activity, selected date and time, accepted or declined status, and technical response date. This data is used only to allow the app to retrieve the response.
Invitation information is placed in the part of the link after the # symbol. This part is used by the browser to display the invitation. It may still be visible in browser history, screenshots, messaging apps, or anywhere else the link is shared.
Advertising, tracking, and analytics
Date Invitation does not add advertising, advertising pixels, cross-app or cross-site tracking, or behavioral analytics tools in this version.
Security and limitations
Invitation links are practical for a simple and low-cost MVP, but they are not equivalent to a private account with secure login. The private token in the link limits access to the response, but anyone who receives the link can open the invitation. Do not share sensitive information in an invitation.
Deletion and requests
Because this version does not have user accounts, there is generally no app profile to delete. For a question about your data, a request to delete a response, or support, email dateinvitation.support@gmail.com.
